Go Green
Bamboo is a quarter of the flowering perennials of the family Poaceae. The structure of bamboo is hollow in the middle and a cross section located vascular bundles scattered throughout the stem. It also does not have xylem.
Bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants in the world due to a unique rhizome dependent system. The plant has significance in terms of the economy and culture in East Asia, Southeast Asia and South Asia where they are used as building materials, food and also a versatile raw product.

Kanzashi Flower Brooch : Exclusive
Tsumami Kanzashi are traditional Japanese folded flowers, made from small squares of silk, that are typically worn by women as hair ornaments in traditional hairstyles.
They seem really complicated and intricate, and they can certainly be that if you really want but it completely doesn't need to be. I love to make them out of cotton prints that are fun and bright, in addition to scraps of silk and other light fabrics.
Originally brooch made, shared and design by sh-yn design.
